my understanding of this quote is that as your life seems to extend you want to do many different things, and one way to help you is writing them down. when you write your goals out on paper , walls, or the floor you are willing to make them happen without you even trying to accomplish them. as you live life  you try chasing  your goals you keep trying hard to make your goals come true.

To me this quote means that our duty as human beings is obey. not only because you have to but because it makes you a better individual with morals to  and it helps you get along with anyone. obeying is a responsibility to everyone in order to get along as a society.

To me the quote means that when you obey someone you will be free to do as you want because they cant deny you many things after being an obedient person with them. The way to getting what you want is by following orders of those that deserve it or have major authority over you and or others.
