A.) What I really liked about this class was that we got to do typing lessons which I wasn't so into at first but then realized how helpful they are. There isn't really anything I don't like about this class.
B.) the only thing I would change is the order of how we do things for example I would like to read our 100+ goals first, then a medial career pathway, a video, and lastly our success statement.
C.) I really did try my best in this class because I wanted to learn how to type properly.
D.) Im going to be honest and say I read my goals about every other day, not on a daily basis and im working on that.
E.) After being in this class I actually am pleased with how many things in my life have changed since ive been trying to be a CTR person im not fully committed to it yet, but im hoping by the end of the second semester I will.
F.) I promise to take a deep breath before I answer to someone while arguing, im going to stay away from bad influences, and im going to try my best to be a CTR person at all times.

FINAL: Part 1
Interdisciplinary Reflection

My Interdisciplinary project topic was on Air Quality. There were six of us in my group, Christian Ochoa, Jennifer Avila, Boriz Alvarez, Gustavo Salgado, Sabrina, and myself. It was a tough task to work with these people because half of them didn’t help out at all. Sabrina never showed up, Jennifer and Christian slacked off way to much and at the end only Gustavo, Boriz, and I had to pick up all the slack and it was really stressful for us. We still managed to get our presentation done and the actual day that we presented it was great because only one person was missing, and it was the same person who wasn’t here the whole time to help us. Our presentation went what we expected and I’m hoping everyone else in my group feels the same.

Something I really liked from these Interdisciplinary projects was that we had to dress professionally. What we could have bettered in the dressing issue was that some girls were dressing like they were going clubbing and in my opinion heels shouldn’t have been worn. We had strict rules as what to wear and though many of us followed that dress code, others didn’t and still didn’t get called on for it.

Over all I enjoyed my presentation and had no trouble completing my task. The only thing I would change from this experience is that I would want to choose my own group next time because I definitely do not want to be stuck with someone who doesn’t do their work and myself and others in the group will have to pick up the slack. Other than that slight issue I don’t think id change anything else.

When do you always feel good? And when do you always feel bad?
When I do good, I feel good. When I do bad, I feel bad.

Abraham Lincoln

Reflection: any time you do well, there is a feeling of satisfaction and you feel amazing knowing you helped someone out and don’t have to carry on life with weight on your shoulders. On the other hand, when you do bad you feel horrible because you probably hurt someone so bad that they simply wont want to talk to you anymore.

Mr. Haymore

Take responsibility for your own body, mind, and spirit, for your own physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing”

The only way to truly be healthy is to have responsibility with your body; don’t consume alcoholic beverages or drugs. Think positive and your life will be positive; it’s all in the mind. As for your spirit; never wish anyone any harm be a tranquil person so that your goods in life are able to arrive.

Richard L. Evans

“we need the courage to start and continue what we should do, and the courage to stop what we shouldn’t do”

We should always start doing good things and try to maintain yourself doing good at all times. When things start going wrong you need to stop what it is you are doing wrong and focus on how you can better yourself. Without morals that would be the hardest thing to do but all that is needed is to try your best to be a CTR person today and always.

Mark Twain

“Always do right.”

To do right things is never wrong. . to do wrong things, is never right. To me what mark twain is saying is that you need to do right things and make wise choices at all times. When you are about to make a decision, stop and think to yourself what positive and negative outcome there will be, you never know where that next step will take you.

when you tell a lie it leads to another
Paul hatch

when you tell one lie, to another
so you tell two lies to cover each other
then you tell lies and Oh brother
you're in trouble up to your ears !
so you tell four lies to try to protect you
then you tell five lies so folks wont suspect
you
then you tell six lies and you'll collect
a life filled with worries and fears
'cause you cant remember how many lies
you've told
and half the things you say aren't true
and sometimes you'll slip up, you'll trip up
and then
whatever will become of you?
so you lie and lie without even trying
and each lie you tell will keep
multiplying
'till the whole wide world will know
you're lying
then you'll be
suspected
detected
rejected
neglected
disliked
and you should!
when you lie , you're closing the door
on everything good.

Paul Hatch

“When you tell one lie, it leads to another”

Once you start lying it’s only a web that grows and grows until you can’t stop it. lying starts to become an easy get away and you don’t realize what can happen, it can drastically hurt those around you and it can hurt you when you get caught lying all the time. Be yourself, be humble, and stay true to yourself and those who love you.

Lou Holts

  1. Can people trust me to do what’s right? yes
  2. Am I committed to doing my very best? yes
  3. Do I treat people the way I want to be treated? yes

“If the answer to these questions is YES, there is no way you can fail.”

Reflection: there is no failing when you are a CTR person. If you are trustworthy, honest respectful, and friendly there is no way to fail because you will always bring out the best in you.
