                                                               Thomas S. Monson

"Our very business in life is not to get ahead of others ... but to get ahead of ourselves."

To me this quote means that there is no point in competing with someone, to be a true winner you have to overcome your own achievements and strive to do your best. you need to worry about your own achievements and not what others are doing because the only person that can beat you at something is yourself.

I dint think I’d like to work in this type of medical field because I wouldn’t feel comfortable having someone else’s life in my hand. I would feel like in harming them as well.

"true wealth I of the heart, not of the purse"

                                                                      Og Mandino
To me this quote means that no matter how much money you have, it will never be enough if you do not have a kind heart. the more money you have the more selfish you get with it and the more you block out people. all the money in the world wouldn't buy you happiness, let alone s kind heart. money doesn't define who you are as a person, yet all people do is look at your social status to judge you on a daily basis.

                                                                  Streling W. Sill
"real wealth is not so much what we have as what we are"
To my understanding the quote means that who you are as a person is much better than all the material things. you may have the money and all the finer things in life but having money doesn't make you a good or better person . what makes you a good person is a kind heart, the way you interact with others, and the way you show your appeal to those around you. the real beauty of a wealthy person is how humble they are.

Ezra T. Benson
"You can not do the wrong and feel right. It is impossible"

My interpretation of Benson's quote is that with doing the wrong thing you have a dirty conscious and you will have it in the back of your head every where you go. On the other hand doing the right thing will make you feel good about yourself and good that you helped someone else out. Doing the wrong thing will get you noticed in a negative way and soon looked at as a bad influence. doing the right thing will get you noticed positively and later on people will want to be around you and not run from you.

Acupressure

Acupressure is a body therapy; it is the art of healing with the fingers. It releases tension, increases circulation, reduces pain, and develops vibrant health. Acupressure uses the same pressure points as acupuncture but does not imply needles. Acupressure can be used to relieve pain, fortify the sexual reproductive system, detoxify the body for greater health and beauty, and tone facial and back muscles. It is also good for relieving muscular tension in all areas of the back. Acupressure also helps with the healing of a trauma and emotional pain.

Duties and responsibilities:

Acupressure is done by professionals and helps the patient with the healing of trauma and emotional pain; they also help with back pain problems. They are responsible for each one of their patient.

Salary:  $37,980 a year

Education: 500 hours of training and classroom instruction and special training to pass the organization exam. Some states require license.

Reflection: I think I would like to become an acupressure therapist because I find it interesting how the hands can heal so many things by just putting pressure on to someone else. Id also like it because I can help others and it doesn’t involve anything gross like blood.

“Education is the latchkey to success in life”

To me this quote means that without an education there is nothing in life and you won’t get anywhere. In order to have a good successful life you need to have an education and learn what is important for your life long goal. As well you have to learn from mistakes you made or are making and it is all in the process of a successful life.  Anything is possible to accomplish as long as there is an education and the will power to learn.

Thomas S. Monson

“Decisions Determine Destiny.”

To me Thomas’ quote means that the decisions you make will determine how your life will turn out to be. Every choice you make in life will affect you, the outcome may be good or it may be bad. There are always consequents to everything and the outcome depends on you and the choices you make in your life as a child, teenager, and adult. Your life depends on what you decide to do so be careful with the path you take.  when

I don’t think I would like to become a psychiatrist because I am not really good at handling people’s attitude and working in the medical field isn’t really an interest to me. They make good money but I’m not interested in this specific job for the fact that I would have to keep so many secrets and it would put more stress into my life.
