FINAL: Part 1
1. What i loved about this class was that you gave us free writes to talk about ourselves and express how we feel.. it was a great help to write down my feelings because i can let out my anger and frustration without hurting anyone.
2. what i didn't like about the class was that it was too too quiet
4. i honestly did do my best in this class and gave it my all.
5. i read my life planning goals daily and they have truly helped because i have accomplished so many of my goals.
6. i am trying to stay committed and be a CTR person, it takes time but and little by little i'll be out of my street habits and be a full CTR person.
7. the one thing i will always remember about this class are your lectures because they taught me a different side of life that i was not aware of.
To be a CTR person - to choose the right !!!

Alan Stein
"success is not an accident. Success is actually a choice. Are the habits you have today on par with the dreams you have tomorrow?

There is only one person coming between you and what you want to do, and that person is yourself. Only you can decide what your fate will be, if you truly have a passion for something then strive to do what you love. Don't let anyone come between you and that passion of yours, never give up, and always keep in mind what your goal is.

STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT

"A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder."

Thomas Carlyle

to me this means that when you set your goals and strive for nothing but the best, you will eventually with time get where you want to be... but if you have no goals or a certain mindset for what it is you want to do, you will only crash in life. your goal can become very much desirable to you after you have seen someone else do it, but what matters most is what you do to get to your goal.

“Nicest man in the world”
Patrick Morgan  : Florida

This man’s kindness has no end; he found an iPad with $13,000 and returned it. He then got a $60 reward and gave most of it to a homeless woman. We need more people with great character and kind heart

The reward for doing right is mostly an internal phenomenon: self-respect, dignity, integrity, and self-esteem Dr. Lauren Schlesinger

Doing the right thing implies your great heart and when you do the right thing you feel good about yourself so why not do what is right all the time.  .
LAUSD: Students
LAUSD offers different pages that include how to get financial aid, what are the most recent graduation requirements, they also offer before and after school programs.
These services benefit me because I am going to graduate really soon and I can really use college advise and different courses to take in the field I want to major in.

The one I would use the most would be the graduation requirements

"when a deep injury is done to us, we never recover until we forgive" Alan Paton

you will never be at peace with yourself if you dont learn to forgive. holding grudges against someone is only going to hurt you because you are going to just grow up bitter and wont be able to see who is really there for you.

“Character is higher than intellect”
 Ralph Waldo Emerson

Being the smartest person on earth is nothing if you lack great character, to be smart and not kind is like having shoes without laces it just doesn't work. Be the outstanding human being you know you can be and enjoy every minute of that. Be the smart person that people want to be around, not the one you know you aren't because good character brings you to great friendships and positive life.

Napa Valley winemaker kills investor and shortly after kills himself; this was all witnessed by police.
47 Year old Robert Dahl (winemaker) shot 48 year old Emad Tawfilis (investor) on Monday March 16, 2015. Tawfilis had lent Dahl $1.2 million to finance a Napa Valley winery.  But last year Tawfilis sued Dahl after learning that the business he had invested in (Patio Wine) was invalid. Dahl was using that money borrowed in a Napa craft brewery that at that time according to the Times was losing $100,000 a month.  Police say Dahl asked to meet Tawfilis at Dahl vineyards in Yountville, California on Monday to discuss terms off a settlement.  The encounter was just a setup to ambush and kill Emad. Once there authorities say Dahl pulled a gun and chased Emad in his suv and when Emad tripped and fell Dahl got off the car and shot him. Dahl got back in his car and crashed; when police got closer they discovered Dahl had shot himself as well.

Free post
Graduation is coming up and the one thing on my mind these past few months is the fact that my mom won’t be around to see me graduate. It brings me to tears just knowing I’m going to go through an exciting experience without my mom,  it has been three years since I last talked to her I miss my momma bear like crazy because she was my best friend, my mom, my companion, and best of all she was my shoulder to cry on.  We use to do everything together, went out to dinner, shopping, traveled, got our nails done, you name it we always did things together.  I’m planning on inviting her to my graduation I’m going to give her tickets to come, if she does I’ll be the happiest girl on earth to know I have my mom to support me from now on. My Nina and Nino want to come as well but idk if my mom and they will get along if both come.  I’m having Jose come along as well and all my family is meeting him for the first time that day, my dad thinks it’s a good idea and I’m glad he’s on board with my ideas. I want my mom to be part of my experience and to be the first of her daughters to graduate high school. I’m not doing this just to please  her, I’m doing this for myself so that in the future I don’t have to say that anyone helped me, I can say I did it all on my own. I’m really thankful  that my dad and I have a close bond and that he agrees with my ideas, thanks to him I’m not the same as when I was with my mom.  I’m also looking into moving out soon and I hope that works out for Jose and I because  my dad is planning to go live in Tijuana and I don’t want to stay here on my own.  I live my days thinking of today not the future because not everything goes as planned.

I would definitely love a job in the Bahamas as an administrative manager. It’s an easy job that pays well and can also be nice to be in an office and have a view to the beach; the Bahamas has a great culture and very friendly residents. I’ve been there once with my family on a business trip of my dad’s and I absolutely love it there.

"true independence and freedom can only exist in doing whats right."
Brigham Young

when you do what is right people will notice it and wont have to constantly be asking you what you are doing or who you are with because they will already know you are doing great things. for example parent wise if you do what is right and they notice that they will allow you to go out more often. Teachers will learn to trust you and wont ever doubt you because they will know you are a righteous person.

"they are only truly great who are truly good"  George Chapman
you cant be a a mean person and still expect to be great, in order to be great you need to be good not only to yourself but to others as well. to be a good human being means you need to have morals, treat others the way you want them to treat you. enjoy the little things in life like friendship and kindness because one day it will all be gone and you wont even realize it you will have noone to lean on.

"many think that the short term gain will be worth the long term pain, but it isn't. in addition, using steroids is cheating, and there is nothing worse in sports than a cheater. don't do it.
george mitchell

cheating can get you anything you want, but that will affect you sooner or later, a guilty conscious can never live at peace because you constantly have to worry about people catching you. live a healthy life and stay at peace with yourself and you will feel great within.
