STUDENT SUCCESS STATEMENT
“Kindness is the essence of greatness.”
Joseph B. Wirthlin
Reflection:
When you are kind to someone, in any way, shape, of form, you will always be great. A great person isn’t defined by what they look like rather by how the act with others and how unselfish they are. Being kind doesn’t mean giving people anything you have, being kind is helping someone up when they fall, or handing someone a glass of water, even complimenting them.

Thanksgiving & Thanksgiving day

Plymouth colonist were the first inspiration to Thanksgiving, after the winter of 1620killed almost half their people. They came to good relationship with their neighboring tribe the Wampanoag, who taught them how to fish, hunt, and plant. By 1621 they had both collected enough food to feed the community and gathered up for a three day feast which was known as the first thanksgiving. In 1777 the continental congress decreed that all 13 of American colonies would celebrate a day to give thanks.

“if it is not right do not do it; if it is not true don’t say it”

Marcus Aurelius

Reflection: don’t do something you will regret later, for example if someone tells you to smoke at school the outcome won’t be good because there is a very strong chance that you will be caught and get in trouble. And don’t lie about things or about other people, ex. Don’t start rumors because you may end up getting hurt.
