Allergist / Immunologist

An Allergist / Immunologist is trained to diagnose, treat and manage allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders. They also study primary immunodeficiency disorders. These conditions are common to a very rare spanning all ages and encompassing various organ systems.

Duties and Responsibilities:
To treat immunodeficiency disorders.

Salary: $225,814

Education: at least nine years of training beyond a bachelor’s degree. Three years of internal medicine.



Reflection: I do not think I would like to become an Allergist / Immunologist because there is so much to deal with and so many people to treat. Not only that but there are so many germs and so many different people to treat.
