Acupressure
Acupressure is a body therapy; it is the art of healing with
the fingers. It releases tension, increases circulation, reduces pain, and develops
vibrant health. Acupressure uses the same pressure points as acupuncture but
does not imply needles. Acupressure can be used to relieve pain, fortify the
sexual reproductive system, detoxify the body for greater health and beauty,
and tone facial and back muscles. It is also good for relieving muscular
tension in all areas of the back. Acupressure also helps with the healing of a
trauma and emotional pain.
Duties and responsibilities:
Acupressure is done by professionals and helps the patient
with the healing of trauma and emotional pain; they also help with back pain
problems. They are responsible for each one of their patient.
Salary: $37,980 a
year
Education: 500 hours of training and classroom instruction
and special training to pass the organization exam. Some states require license.
Reflection: I think I would like to become an acupressure therapist
because I find it interesting how the hands can heal so many things by just
putting pressure on to someone else. Id also like it because I can help others
and it doesn’t involve anything gross like blood.
