Diagnostic radiologist

A diagnostic radiologist is trained to execute and interpret medical images such as x-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds, and MRI’s.  They analyze these exams and come up with a diagnosis for their patients.

Salary: $273,980 annually

Education:  doctor of medicine degree, state licensure

Reflection: I don’t think I would like to become a radiologist because I wouldn’t want to be the one breaking bad news to someone and seeing them bust out in tears.
